1. Purpose and binding effect
1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy defines permitted and prohibited conduct for the Snap Matrix website, Account, Token system, paid photo content, upload tools and AI image-generation module.
1.2 It applies to Inputs, prompts, reference images, metadata, Outputs, account behaviour, payment activity, automation, sharing and downstream use where connected to the Service.
1.3 The Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions. A breach may result in rejection, Token non-restoration where clearly disclosed, content removal, rate limitation, suspension, termination, payment action or referral to a competent authority.
1.4 Enforcement is proportionate to severity, intent, repetition, user impact and legal risk. Mandatory rights concerning payments or non-conforming unrelated content remain preserved.
2. Who may use the Service
2.1 Users must be at least 18, legally capable of contracting and permitted to use the Service under applicable law. An Account may not be created on behalf of an underage person.
2.2 A business user must ensure that employees and contractors are authorised, trained and bound by controls appropriate to the intended use of Inputs and Outputs.
2.3 A user subject to sanctions, legal prohibition or a prior termination for serious abuse may not use another identity or Account to regain access.
2.4 The Account holder is responsible for activity carried out through credentials they authorised or failed to secure, subject to applicable rules on unauthorised access and payment.
3. General permission
3.1 Users may purchase and consume Tokens, access paid photo content and generate images for lawful personal or commercial purposes within the licence, technical limits and product description.
3.2 Permitted use includes creative ideation, design exploration, lawful marketing assets, fictional characters, product concepts and personal avatars where the necessary rights and consents exist.
3.3 A user may edit, combine and publish an Output only after reviewing it for legality, accuracy, suitability, third-party rights and the risks of presenting synthetic content as authentic.
3.4 No permission extends to Snap Matrix software, model weights, security systems, branding or third-party content except as expressly stated in the Terms.
4. Prohibited content matrix
4.1 The examples are non-exhaustive. Context, intent, target and likely harm determine classification.

5. Child safety
5.1 Users must not create, upload, request, possess through the Service or distribute any sexual or exploitative depiction of a minor or a person who appears to be a minor, whether photorealistic, altered, fictional or synthetic.
5.2 Users must not sexualise an ordinary image of a child, generate grooming content, simulate child abuse, create age-regressed sexual content, or use the Service to identify or target a minor.
5.3 A legitimate family, educational or creative image involving children must remain age-appropriate and lawful, and the user must have authority to use any real child’s image. Snap Matrix may apply stricter safety filters without guaranteeing acceptance.
5.4 Suspected child sexual exploitation material may be blocked, preserved to the extent legally required, and reported to competent authorities or designated organisations. Account notice may be limited where law or safety requires.
6. Non-consensual intimate imagery and sexual exploitation
6.1 Users must not generate or alter an image to depict a real or identifiable person nude, sexualised or engaged in intimate activity without that person’s explicit informed consent.
6.2 Prohibited uses include “nudify” or “undress” requests, revenge pornography, sexual extortion, voyeuristic fabrication, hidden-camera simulation and coercive sexual content.
6.3 Consent must relate to the specific creation and intended use; a publicly available portrait, past relationship, modelling image or general image licence does not imply consent to synthetic intimate content.
6.4 Snap Matrix may remove related Outputs, disable access, terminate Accounts and cooperate with lawful removal or preservation requests. A good-faith victim report receives priority review.
7. Deepfakes, identity and impersonation
7.1 Users must not create synthetic media that impersonates a real person for fraud, harassment, political deception, fabricated evidence, credential circumvention, reputational attack or unauthorised commercial endorsement.
7.2 A consensual avatar, parody, clearly fictional work or authorised campaign may be permitted where it does not confuse a reasonable audience about authenticity and does not violate rights or law.
7.3 Users must not generate passports, identity cards, visas, licences, bank records, medical records, signatures, authentication artefacts or other documents intended to pass as genuine.
7.4 Where context could mislead, the user must apply an appropriate synthetic-media disclosure, label or surrounding explanation and must not remove provenance information to facilitate deception.
8. Public figures, news and civic integrity
8.1 Users must not create or distribute false photorealistic depictions of public officials, candidates, military events, disasters, protests or public-health events with the intent or likely effect of deceiving the public about a material fact.
8.2 Satire, editorial illustration and fictional treatment may be permitted when the synthetic nature is clear and the use does not facilitate threats, voter suppression, fraud or targeted harassment.
8.3 Users must not fabricate endorsements, confessions, criminal conduct, official announcements or evidence attributed to a real public figure.
8.4 Snap Matrix may apply heightened review to time-sensitive civic content and may block a request even where final legality is uncertain if the foreseeable deception risk is substantial.
9. Violence, self-harm and dangerous conduct
9.1 The Service must not be used to threaten a person, glorify or facilitate terrorism, plan violent wrongdoing, create extortion material or provide operational assistance for serious injury.
9.2 Graphic fictional or documentary-style content may be restricted where it targets a real victim, celebrates abuse, creates credible intimidation or is otherwise unlawful. Artistic context does not excuse a threat.
9.3 Users must not create instructional images designed to improve the execution of self-harm, weapon construction, evasion of safety controls or other dangerous conduct.
9.4 Supportive, preventive, educational or clearly fictional content may be treated differently where the presentation reduces rather than increases risk.
10. Hate, harassment and exploitation
10.1 Users must not generate content that dehumanises, advocates violence against or systematically excludes people based on protected characteristics, or that targets an identifiable person with severe abuse.
10.2 Prohibited targeted conduct includes doxxing graphics, humiliating sexual edits, stalking aids, discriminatory advertisements, coercive threats and repeated generation designed to distress a victim.
10.3 Robust fictional, historical, journalistic or educational treatment may be permitted where the context is clear and does not endorse harm or target a private person.
10.4 Snap Matrix may consider cumulative behaviour across prompts, Accounts and shared Outputs rather than evaluating each isolated request without context.
11. Intellectual property, privacy and publicity rights
11.1 Users must own or have the necessary licence, consent or legal basis for Inputs. They must not upload stolen private photographs, confidential design files, paywalled material or copyrighted collections to which they lack rights.
11.2 Users must not use prompts or reference images to counterfeit products, misappropriate trademarks, imitate a protected character or artist in a manner that infringes applicable rights, or remove rights-management information unlawfully.
11.3 An Output may unintentionally resemble existing material. The user must conduct appropriate clearance before high-risk commercial use and respond to credible rights complaints.
11.4 Snap Matrix may remove content and restrict repeat infringers after receiving a sufficiently substantiated notice, while allowing a good-faith response or counter-notice where appropriate.
12. Fraud, scams and regulated misuse
12.1 Users must not generate scam advertisements, fake investment returns, counterfeit product images, phishing creatives, fabricated testimonials, forged receipts, false medical claims or deceptive before-and-after evidence.
12.2 The Service may not be used to promote illegal goods, evade regulated-product advertising rules, manipulate financial markets, impersonate a regulated professional or mislead a consumer about material product characteristics.
12.3 Users remain responsible for required disclosures in advertising and for substantiating objective claims. A synthetic image must not imply real-world testing, endorsement or performance that did not occur.
12.4 Payment activity linked to fraud, stolen instruments, card testing, laundering, cash-out or collusive chargebacks is separately prohibited and may trigger immediate Account and Payment Provider action.
13. Technical abuse and unauthorised automation
13.1 Users must not bypass rate limits, generation costs, access controls, geographic restrictions, moderation, account verification or technical measures designed to protect the Service.
13.2 Scraping, crawling or automation is prohibited where it overloads the Service, collects personal or paid content, evades a published interface, or violates robots, authentication or contractual controls. Authorised application programming interfaces, if offered, are governed by their own limits.
13.3 Users must not probe vulnerabilities, introduce malware, perform denial-of-service activity, intercept sessions, enumerate Accounts, reverse engineer model protections or attempt to extract model weights or training data.
13.4 Coordinated Accounts, rotating identifiers and scripted retries may be treated as one actor where reasonably linked by evidence.
14. Token, payment and marketplace abuse
14.1 Tokens may not be sold, transferred, pledged, brokered or exchanged outside Snap Matrix. Users must not operate a secondary market, advertise cash redemption or represent Tokens as cryptocurrency or investment assets.
14.2 Users must not exploit pricing mistakes, duplicate credits, refund timing, promotional loops, compromised payment methods or chargeback processes to obtain generation value without payment.
14.3 A user who receives an obvious excess Token credit must not spend it and should notify support. Snap Matrix may correct the ledger with an explanatory record.
14.4 Accounts created to resell access, pool unverified users or conceal the real purchaser may be restricted unless Snap Matrix has expressly approved a business arrangement.
15. Data, model and confidentiality misuse
15.1 Users must not upload another person’s confidential, biometric, medical, financial, employment or private image data without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
15.2 The Service must not be used to infer sensitive traits about an identifiable person, conduct covert biometric identification, rank people for high-impact decisions, or create a deceptive identity profile.
15.3 Users must not seek to reveal system prompts, safety rules, confidential provider information, hidden training examples or personal data through prompt injection, extraction attacks or repeated reconstruction attempts.
15.4 A business user should minimise personal data, avoid unnecessary faces and identifiers, and use controlled review before placing Outputs into employment, credit, insurance, health, education or legal workflows.
16. Output disclosure and responsible use
16.1 Users must not present a synthetic Output as an authentic photograph where that representation would materially mislead a reasonable person or violate law. Context, caption, watermark or metadata may be needed.
16.2 A user must not remove a required disclosure or provenance marker for the purpose of enabling deception. Editing for ordinary design reasons is permitted where it does not create a false claim of authenticity.
16.3 Before publication, the user must review the Output for harmful stereotypes, false text, unintended logos, identity similarity, privacy exposure and factual implications.
16.4 Snap Matrix does not guarantee that a generated image is accurate, exclusive or free from all third-party claims. Responsible downstream use remains the user’s duty.
17. Content and conduct review process
17.1 Snap Matrix may use automated classifiers, rule-based controls, hashes, metadata, user reports and human review to identify prohibited content or behaviour. Controls are designed to minimise unnecessary access to private content.
17.2 A request may be blocked before generation, an Output may be quarantined after generation, or an Account may be restricted pending review. The status may not reveal detailed safety logic where that would facilitate evasion.
17.3 Review considers the Input, Output, surrounding account behaviour, stated context, prior warnings, payment risk and credible external reports. A single ambiguous prompt is not automatically treated as the most serious category.
17.4 Where a decision has a significant effect and law requires it, the user may request human review and provide context, subject to exceptions for safety, security or legal restrictions.
18. Enforcement matrix
18.1 Controls may be combined and escalated. The matrix is illustrative rather than a fixed penalty schedule.

19. Token treatment on blocked requests
19.1 Where a request is rejected before material processing and no priced service is consumed, Tokens should ordinarily remain available. The interface may reserve and then release them automatically.
19.2 Where a clearly prohibited request consumes material processing or repeated abuse is detected, Tokens may not be restored if that consequence was disclosed and mandatory law permits it.
19.3 A false-positive block should result in restoration of affected Tokens or access. The user may provide the job reference and lawful context through the appeal route.
19.4 Token treatment is not a fine and does not create a cash claim. A broader payment remedy remains available where required for an unrelated non-conforming paid product.
20. Reporting content or conduct
20.1 Reports may be sent to info@snap-matrix.com with the subject “Safety report” or “Rights report”. Include the Account or content reference, location, category of concern and enough context for review.
20.2 Do not redistribute illegal or intimate content merely to report it. A link, identifier, redacted screenshot or description may be safer. Snap Matrix may provide a more secure transfer route where evidence is necessary.
20.3 A rights complaint should identify the work, right, allegedly infringing material, basis of authority, contact details and a good-faith statement. Snap Matrix may request reasonable verification.
20.4 Knowingly false reports, harassment through reporting tools or disclosure of another person’s private content may themselves violate this Policy.

21. Appeals
21.1 An affected user may appeal a block, Token decision, suspension, content removal or termination by identifying the decision, Account or job, lawful purpose, rights held and any evidence of error.
21.2 Where practicable, a reviewer not responsible for the initial decision assesses the appeal. The reviewer may confirm, narrow, reverse or replace the measure and may restore Tokens or content access where an error occurred.
21.3 An appeal does not require Snap Matrix to regenerate illegal content, disclose confidential detection rules, restore compromised credentials or ignore a legal preservation duty.
21.4 Urgent victim-safety or child-safety action remains in force during review unless the evidence shows that the risk classification was wrong.
22. Law-enforcement and emergency requests
22.1 Snap Matrix responds to valid legal process and may make emergency disclosures where law permits and there is a good-faith belief of imminent serious harm. Requests must identify the legal authority, scope and official contact route.
22.2 The company challenges or narrows overbroad requests where appropriate and does not provide unrestricted Account access merely because a requester asserts official status.
22.3 Evidence preservation may temporarily prevent deletion or closure. The affected user may not be notified where notice is prohibited or would create a material safety or investigation risk.
22.4 Cross-border requests are handled through applicable legal mechanisms, considering jurisdiction, data-protection requirements and the nature of the risk.
23. Privacy and evidence retention
23.1 Safety processing may involve Inputs, Outputs, prompts, account identifiers, access logs, reports, moderation scores, payment risk and communications. Snap Matrix uses the minimum reasonably necessary for detection, review and defence.
23.2 Critical abuse evidence may be retained beyond ordinary content deletion where required by law or necessary for reporting, victim protection, dispute resolution or legal claims. Access is restricted to authorised roles.
23.3 Automated safety analysis and any significant decision rights are described further in the Privacy Policy. Users may exercise applicable data rights without requiring deletion of evidence that must lawfully be preserved.
23.4 Reporters and subjects should avoid including unrelated sensitive information. Snap Matrix may redact excessive material while retaining the facts needed to act.
24. Minors and family images
24.1 The Account eligibility age is eighteen, but lawful users may sometimes process non-sexual family or creative images involving children. They must have authority, minimise exposure and avoid public disclosure that creates safety risk.
24.2 No consent by a parent or adult can authorise child sexual exploitation material or another prohibited category. Snap Matrix may reject even a purportedly authorised request where the content or context presents unacceptable risk.
24.3 A parent or guardian may report misuse of a child’s image and should provide enough information to locate the content without sending additional unnecessary images.
24.4 Snap Matrix gives child-safety reports priority and may preserve and report material as legally required.
25. Policy changes and contact
25.1 Snap Matrix may update this Policy to address new abuse patterns, product features, legal duties, model capabilities and safety controls. Material restrictions for future use are published through the current version.
25.2 An update may apply immediately where needed to prevent serious harm or comply with law. It does not retroactively convert lawful completed conduct into a payment breach, but ongoing availability may be restricted where continued hosting is unsafe or unlawful.
25.3 Questions, reports and appeals should be sent to info@snap-matrix.com. Formal notices may also be sent to the registered office shown in the Operator table.
25.4 Users should review this Policy before high-risk use involving real people, public events, regulated claims, intimate contexts, children, identity or commercially sensitive material.
